5 Steps:
Warm up the area where you plan to attach the flair by using an iron for better adhesion.
Choose the desired size of the flair, cut it, position it on the pre-heated area, and cover with parchment paper.
Apply firm pressure on the parchment paper with an iron for 15 seconds.
Use the following iron with settings: “cotton” / 180°C / 350°F
Remove the parchment paper and let the flair cool for 4 minutes before peeling it off.
After cooling for 4 minutes, give it a quick press with the iron for a smoother and polished finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply the flair to any type of fabric?
Flairs work best on cotton or cotton-blend fabrics. Avoid using them on delicate materials like silk or fabrics that cannot withstand heat.
How do I care for clothing with a flair attached?
Wash the garment inside out at 30°C (80°F) on a gentle cycle. Avoid tumble drying or ironing directly over the flair to maintain its quality.
Can I remove or reposition the flair after attaching it?
Once applied, flairs are permanent and cannot be repositioned without risking damage to the fabric or flair.
Can I get creative with how I apply the flair?
Absolutely! Feel free to cut the flair into pieces—whether by line, word, or letter—and arrange them artistically however you like. It’s your design, so let your creativity shine!
What should I do if the flair starts to peel?
If the flair begins to peel, place parchment paper over it and re-iron to secure it. Ensure the iron is at the correct temperature.
